Web Developer

Mplayit is looking for a Web Developer with 1-3 years prior experience to join the team. You will be a critical member of talented development team using your development chops to unleash the next set of features for our consumers and partners.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Build new features for Mplayit’s web-based mobile content social discovery widget,
  • Build new features for Mplayit’s flaghip product on Facebook,
  • Deploy, enhance and optimize partner integrations (AT&T, Sprint, etc),
  • Learn and leverage the latest Web technologies to deliver industry leading consumer and B2B features,
  • Participate in feature definition as needed.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years prior experience with web development. Consumer product experience a bonus,
  • Javascript required, Java required, CSS required, Google Web Toolkit preferred,
  • Experience with Facebook API required, Open Social preferred,
  • Unix (OS X) required,
  • Photoshop or other a bonus,
  • A passion for social media, mobile content, and the power of the web and technology.

Product Marketing Associate

Mplayit is looking for a Product Marketing Associate with 1-2 years prior experience to define and execute its consumer marketing programs. This is a central new role in a growing, global consumer technology start-up headquartered in Northern Virginia.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Define & Execute Customer Communications Strategy,
  • Manage & Execute Channel Programming and Content Intake,
  • Manage Company Presence on Key Blogs/Media Outlets,
  • Data Analysis of Marketing Programs and User Behavior,
  • User Engagement Feature Definition.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years prior experience in Marketing, Product Management, and/or Social Media,
  • A passion for social media, mobile content, and the power of the web and technology,
  • Must be creative, have great writing skills, energy, attention to detail, and be organized,
  • Bonus if you have Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Java and/or Javascript experience.
