When I click link on a web page to start the mplayit widget, I get an “unrecognized file type” error.

This happens because you either don’t have Java WebStart installed, or it’s not properly configured in your browser.  This is easy to fix: just visit this page at java.com.

When I press 7, 8, or 9, it thinks I’m pressing 1, 2, or 3.

Because mobile applications are designed for phone keypads, we’ve remapped your number keypad to use the phone keypad layout.  You can turn this off by unchecking the “invert keypad” checkbox.
